project overview

project overview

Tuskmane Estate is a family-owned winery, established in the late 1980s. Originally planted with Italian varietals, the vineyards have gradually transitioned to premium French grapes, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pink Moscato.

The estate engaged us to refresh their brand identity and design packaging for their latest wine collection, creating a modern, cohesive look that reflects both heritage and evolution.

the challenge

Tuskmane Estate needed a brand identity and packaging system that could:

  • Reflect the winery’s evolution from Italian to French varietals while honoring its heritage.

  • Stand out in a market dominated by traditional wine branding conventions - classic wordmarks, muted palettes and heritage imagery.

  • Clearly differentiate multiple varietals while maintaining a unified visual system.

  • Align with sustainability goals without compromising premium presentation.

THE PROCESS

THE PROCESS

We developed a clean, modern, and striking visual identity. A minimalist wine glass logo establishes a direct association with the new wine offerings, while a refined colour palette and curated imagery highlight the brand’s distinctive qualities and improve recall.

Each wine label incorporates a subtle colour variation to distinguish varietals, creating visual clarity without breaking the cohesive aesthetic. The packaging mirrors this approach: brown and white paper bags are 100% biodegradable, reusable, and recyclable, with colour variations that correspond to each varietal.

All design elements were crafted for flexibility, allowing seamless integration across marketing collateral, including banners, brochures, and posters, ensuring a consistent and memorable brand presence.

The refreshed brand identity and packaging elevated Tuskmane Estate’s market positioning, helping the collection stand out on shelves and in promotional materials. The clean, modern design resonated with both traditional wine enthusiasts and new consumers, while the sustainable packaging reinforced the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

RESULTS & conclusion

The project delivered a cohesive, premium brand ecosystem that balances heritage with contemporary appeal. From labels to packaging and marketing collateral, Tuskmane Estate now presents a unified and memorable experience that enhances consumer recognition, differentiates each varietal, and positions the winery for continued growth.
