Pop Fizz is a new beverage brand entering the highly competitive Melbourne soft drink market. Known for its playful energy and bold flavours, Pop Fizz approached Oramer Studio to develop a distinctive brand identity that captures its bold and vibrant personality. The objective was to create a bold visual presence that resonates with a youthful, adventurous audience while establishing a memorable and confident brand in a crowded category.

the challenge
While the product concept was clear, Pop Fizz required a brand identity that could visually capture its energy and distinct personality. In a saturated beverage market, the brand needed to be instantly recognisable and memorable. The identity also had to be flexible and scalable, working seamlessly across cans, social media, merchandise, and future brand extensions.
Brand Discovery: Conducted workshops with the Pop Fizz team to understand the brand personality, target audience, and flavor profile.
Market Research: Analysed competitors’ visual strategies and identified gaps for a brand that could combine fun, sophistication, and shelf impact.
Concept Development: Explored visual directions emphasizing bold typography, color blocking, and minimalist graphic elements to convey energy and refreshment.
Iteration & Refinement: Developed multiple mockups of can designs, testing for visibility, readability, and aesthetic appeal in real-world scenarios.
Finalisation: Selected a clean, two-tone can design featuring a strong typographic treatment—white and red color blocking with condensation effects, communicating freshness and excitement at first glance.

RESULTS & conclusion
Pop Fizz now has a cohesive, instantly recognizable visual identity ready for market launch. Shelf visibility and consumer recall are significantly enhanced. Oramer Studio’s branding positions Pop Fizz for market success, while leaving room for future expansion of flavors and product lines.
